13 липня 2026 року вже вчетверте на базі факультету кібербезпеки, програмної інженерії та комп’ютерних наук Міжнародного університету розпочався RoboFest Odesa 2026 — безкоштовний фестиваль робототехніки для школярів.
Цього року фестиваль став ще масштабнішим: кількість учасників суттєво зросла, а географія проєкту значно розширилася. До RoboFest Odesa 2026 долучилися юні винахідники не лише з Одеси та інших міст України, а й із закордону, які готові продемонструвати свої знання, інженерні навички та командну роботу.
Урочисте відкриття відбулося в теплій та натхненній атмосфері.
Декан факультету доктор технічних наук, професор Ірина Стрелковська привітала учасників, побажала успіхів і розповіла про можливості, які відкриває сучасна ІТ-освіта. З вітальним словом до учасників звернулася Катерина Соловей, генеральний директор Odesa IT Family. Вона наголосила на важливості розвитку технічної освіти, підтримки молодих талантів та побажала командам сміливих ідей, наполегливості й яскравих перемог.
Учасників також привітав Володимир Бучацький, директор ТОВ «Реноме Сервіс», який відзначив значення подібних ініціатив для розвитку майбутніх інженерів та ІТ-фахівців і побажав школярам отримати максимум досвіду та задоволення від участі у фестивалі.
Особливим гостем відкриття став Володимир Яровенко — студент першого курсу інженерного факультету Меморіального університету Ньюфаундленда (Канада). Він представив проєкт у сфері підводної робототехніки та розповів про свій досвід участі у міжнародних змаганнях MATE ROV Competition, де був лідером команди з розробки програмного забезпечення. Його виступ надихнув учасників розвиватися, вірити у власні сили та сміливо реалізовувати інженерні ідеї.
Заступник декану факультету кандидат технічних наук, доцент Олександр Русу ознайомив команди з регламентом, правилами та конкурсними завданнями.
Після відкриття учасники одразу розпочали роботу: сформували команди, отримали перші завдання та занурилися у створення власних роботів. Попереду — кілька днів інтенсивної роботи, нових знайомств, цікавих ідей та справжнього командного духу.

On July 13, 2026, for the fourth time, RoboFest Odesa 2026, a free robotics festival for schoolchildren, began at the Faculty of Cybersecurity, Software Engineering and Computer Science of the International University.
This year, the festival became even larger: the number of participants has increased significantly, and the geography of the project has expanded significantly. Young inventors not only from Odessa and other cities of Ukraine, but also from abroad, who are ready to demonstrate their knowledge, engineering skills and teamwork, joined RoboFest Odesa 2026.
The grand opening took place in a warm and inspiring atmosphere.
The Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Iryna Strelkovska, welcomed the participants, wished them success and spoke about the opportunities that modern IT education opens up.
Kateryna Solovey, General Director of Odesa IT Family, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. She emphasized the importance of developing technical education, supporting young talents, and wished the teams bold ideas, perseverance, and bright victories.
The participants were also greeted by Volodymyr Buchatsky, director of Renome Service LLC, who noted the importance of such initiatives for the development of future engineers and IT specialists and wished the students to gain maximum experience and pleasure from participating in the festival.
The special guest of the opening was Volodymyr Yarovenko, a first-year student at the Faculty of Engineering of Memorial University of Newfoundland (Canada). He presented a project in the field of underwater robotics and spoke about his experience participating in the international MATE ROV Competition, where he was the leader of the software development team. His speech inspired the participants to develop, believe in their own strengths, and boldly implement engineering ideas.
Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Oleksandr Rusu, familiarized the teams with the regulations, rules, and competition tasks.
After the opening, the participants immediately started working: they formed teams, received their first tasks and immersed themselves in creating their own robots. Ahead are several days of intensive work, new acquaintances, interesting ideas and real team spirit.
